The North Texas Peace Corps Association serves many purposes for RPCVs, the local North Texas community, and in the countries where so many of us have served.

As a social and activity group, we provide an opportunity for RPCVs to meet each other and share common stories and interests, network, and share information about volunteer opportunities. To say nothing of providing an excuse to go out an enjoy some of Dallas's interesting locales.

RPCVs are used to service projects, and now that we've returned home we tend to continue the tradition. The North Texas Peace Corps Association works to connect RPCVs with opportunities to serve the North Texas region. Whether it's the "Hearts and Hammers" annual charity event, or other community events, the NTXPCA takes pride in being able to give back.

RPCVs know how difficult it could be to get project funding while we were in service. The NTXPCA hosts occasional fundraising events that allow us to select worthy PCV projects around the world and aid in the funding of those projects. Often we help push over the final funding requirement to allow those projects to get started. We take great pride in seeing the results of these projects, in the photos and letters sent by the PCVs, knowing that they were able complete a goal thanks to our assistance.
